I have been trying to find this features that I value so much, the ability to sent and receive SMS Text message directly from Exchange Server 2010 via using Outlook Web Access.

Testing works here, at least to a known cell provider. Simply compose a new e-mail to the cell phone number. For example, to send a sms to me:
6136281686@txt.bell.ca
In my case, Outlook 2010 BETA is still missing Canadian cell phone providers, so the GUI set-up isn’t working.
